General
The General tab personalizes the platform for tasks you launch from the Code Playground or from a connected GitHub repository. It splits into two sections.
Note
These defaults apply to runs from the Signaloid Cloud Developer Platform, both in the Code Playground and from connected GitHub repositories. Runs against the Compute Engine API directly are not affected.
Code Execution holds:
- Default execution core: the core the Code Playground and every newly connected repository start with.
- Default reference core: the core a run moves to when it switches to the Reference microarchitecture from the Variable Viewer.
- Default Data Source Configuration: the mount that Reset to Default restores in the Code Playground and on repository cards. Open the picker to set the mount. When no default mount is set, the section shows an Add Default Source Mount Point card you can click to open the picker. Once a mount is configured, two tooltip icon buttons appear: Reset to default () and Remove Mount Point ().
Editor holds:
- Theme: the theme the Code Playground opens with, previewed beside the selector before you save. The button on the editor toolbar returns to it after a light or dark override.
- Show variable viewer: a checkbox that toggles the Variable Viewer's default visibility in the Code Playground.
Theme takes effect when you click Save. Every other setting on this tab, including Show variable viewer, saves as soon as you change it.
